This section lists sources of general scientific information on lipids, lpid metabolism, etc, not specifically relevant to trans fats.

• The Lipid Library website is a mine of information about lipids generally, including their chemistry, occurence and biological roles. It was created by Dr William W. Christie, former head of the Chemistry Department at The Scottish Crop Research Institute and now a consultant to Mylnefield Lipid Analysis.
