Haldane Foods

Haldane make a wide range of vegetarian / vegan prepared foods, including the Real Eat and Granose brands, and products such as Vegebacon, Vegebangers, dry mixes for nut roast, soya desserts and so on.

Unfortunately a number of these products contain hydrogenated oil, sometimes in large amounts. Vege Bacon, for example, has hydrogenated vegetable oil listed as its number two ingredient.

A customer recently wrote to them and received this response:

"We are currently in the process of removing hydrogenated fats from all of our products wherever possible and VegeBacon is high on the agenda."

We look forward to the entire range being HVO-free!
